Where can I purchase a PCW Warranty?
PCW Warranties can be purchased
only from authorized PCW Dealers.
Consult your selling dealer for warranty details and
availability. If your selling dealer does not offer
PCW warranties, give us a call and we can contact them to
see if they qualify to become an authorized PCW Dealer.

What does it mean that my
warranty is insured?
PCW Warranties are insured through
underwriters that are AM Best classification
required. This is
recognized by the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council and the
Used Car Dealers Association of Ontario.

Can I transfer my warranty?
Each warranty is different, so it's
important to check your warranty agreement. Most PCW
warranties are transferable if you sell your vehicle
privately to another individual. Contact the PCW
administration office and we can assist you in transferring the
warranty to the new owner of the vehicle.

How can I renew my
warranty?
After your warranty expires, you can
renew it by returning to the selling dealer you purchased
the warranty from. The vehicle would undergo an
inspection and then your dealer could submit a new warranty
application for you.

Can I buy a warranty on a
vehicle I already own?
It is possible to purchase a warranty
on a vehicle your already own. Contact your original selling dealer. The
vehicle must undergo an inspection to make sure that it is
in good working order before a warranty application can be
put through. You can then purchase a warranty from the
authorized PCW Dealer.

I'm having a problem with my car. What do I do?
Call our Claims Department first.
888-284-2356 The Claims Assistants at PCW are trained to help you get
your vehicle diagnosed and repaired as quickly as possible.
They will work with you to get you to a qualified repair centre best suited to meet your needs. They will arrange to have your vehicle
brought in and diagnosed. They will work with us
to complete the repair and get you back on the road as quickly
as possible.

Where can I have my car repaired?
When you call our Claims Department,
our Claims Assistants will refer you to one of hundreds of
authorized PCW Service Depots across Canada. If you
happen to be on vacation or in a remote area where there may
not be a convenient service depot, we'll find one and work
with them to make sure you continue to receive your warranty
benefits anywhere in North America.

What about oil changes and car maintenance?
Every mechanic will tell you how
important it is to take care of your vehicle in order keep
it operating efficiently and for long term. Your warranty
contract requires you to ensure your maintenance is
completed at a regular intervals. Though you are not
required to have it completed by any particular service
depot, it must be completed by a qualified commercial
establishment and receipts may be requested in the event of
a claim so retain your oil change receipts. Do-it-yourself
oil changes are not permitted. Always refer to your warranty
for maintenance requirements to keep your warranty valid.

What do I do if I need a tow truck or roadside
assistance?
Many of our Warranty Programs include
roadside assistance and towing. Should you require an
emergency roadside service, contact your closest Towing
Service and hold on to your receipt to send in to us for
reimbursement. Check your Warranty Agreement for
details.
